How often should I come in?

It depends on your goals! Some clients visit weekly for athletic training, while others come in for progressive check-ins. We cater to individual requirements and demands, considering your starting point and personal goals. Our practitioners will help you create a plan that fits your needs and schedule.

How long are sessions?

Your first appointment with us will be approximately one hour to allow time for us to discover your history and health goals, as well as perform all the necessary assessments and get all the information needed to be able to provide the best level of care.

Standard appointments within the clinic are up to 15 minutes, however it can depend on individual needs to reach your goal.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes, chiropractic care is very safe when performed by a licensed professional. We do thorough assessments on new patients to determine if chiropractic will benefit you and give us insight into where and how to adjust you. Our team at ProHealth Chiropractic uses gentle, precise techniques suitable for patients of all ages.

When will I start seeing results?

You may experience some relief after your first adjustment. However, time and repetition are generally needed to support your body to begin healing and holding the adjustment. Remember, if a condition takes time to develop and deteriorate, it will also take time to heal. We’ll recommend the care plan that best suits your condition and goals.

Thank you to Michael and Jordan, and the Team at ProHealth Chiropractic in Chorley, for their assistance Whilst playing golf on Easter Day (2021), I suffered an injury to the middle of my Back. The pain worsened over the next few days until I was struggling to sit up from a horizontal (resting) position, to stand from a sitting position, and to walk without feeling pain in my lower back. I was not in a good place. In the hunt for help and assistance I visited ProHealth Chiropractic. After listening to my tale of woe on the golf course, and a realisation on my part, that probably years of operating a poor Back posture had not helped, I would like to pass on my thanks to Jordan (for the physio) and Michael (for the Chiro) that was gratefully received. I’m now in much better shape, playing golf again, and with an improved understanding of good Back posture, and stretching exercises that I practice often, in an attempt to prevent recurrence of injury. In turn, this learning will hopefully assist me further in later years, although, I’m not sure if it will improve my golf handicap, but I will find out!
